Welcome to BlurPlate. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

BlurPlate is an online image processing tool that allows users to blur faces, license plates, and other objects in photographs. The service includes automatic detection of faces and license plates, manual blur region editing, and image export.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BlurPlate only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the service to process images you do not have the right to edit
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the detection models
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access

4. Image Processing and Privacy

Images you upload are processed in your browser whenever possible. When server-side processing is required, images are temporarily stored only for the duration of processing and are deleted immediately after. We do not retain, share, or analyze your images beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

5. Premium Subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription:

• You agree to pay the fees displayed at the time of purchase
• Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider
• Subscriptions are non-refundable unless required by applicable law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the images you upload and process. BlurPlate does not claim ownership of your content. The service itself, including its design, code, detection models, and branding, remains the property of BlurPlate.

7. Free Tier and Watermarks

Free-tier users may have a watermark applied to exported images. Premium subscribers receive watermark-free exports and access to additional features. We reserve the right to modify the features available on each tier.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The automatic detection will identify all faces or license plates
• The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlurPlate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page.
